Erin Walker, LCSW

Hello and welcome! I’m Erin Walker. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Marine Corps combat veteran.  I’m so glad you found me and have taken this courageous step in your healing journey.

I help individuals who want to live their best life, free from the burdens of physical and emotional pain. Whether this is your first time entertaining the idea of therapy, or you’ve been on a journey for a while seeking growth and healing with professional guidance. Regardless of your circumstances, among other emotions, you’re likely feeling a level of frustration in this moment. I’m here to tell you that frustration is good. Yes, you read that right! Frustration is where learning begins and can be a strong motivator and catalyst for change.

Working with individuals in various settings for over a decade, I noticed a pattern of concerns that often occurred together, that can be extremely frustrating and debilitating.  These concerns of chronic pain, sleep disturbance, and trauma/PTSD have a mind-body connection, yet individuals often received disjointed mind OR body care from counseling, medical, and health/wellness professionals. That’s when I decided to create a practice using a holistic and collaborative approach to healing.  I accomplish this by providing targeted and evidence-based treatment interventions and utilize the collective healing power of established professional relationships and networks that I’ve established in this community to support our work together and success.

When working with individuals, I strive to create a safe, welcoming, and non-judgmental environment in which they can share their experiences and begin the process of healing. My work is guided by a core belief in the resilience of the human spirit, and the power of connection and compassion to heal and grow.  Additionally, as a veteran, I have a deep appreciation for the sacrifices made by those who have served our country and I am dedicated to improving the lives of military/veterans and their families.

So, if you are struggling with a chronic condition and have found little help from traditional medical or wellness approaches. Or if you are an active-duty military or veteran looking for assistance with issues related to military service, I encourage you to reach out and learn more about how I can help you on your healing journey.

I look forward to hearing from you and helping you live the life you deserve.
